YB Senator Dato’ Sri Ti Lian Ker joined Messrs Ching, Tan & Associates as Consultant in 2023, bringing with him extensive experience and distinguished credentials in both the legal profession and public service. He graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from University of Malaya and was admitted as as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya since 1987.

Dato’ Sri Ti Lian Ker is an alumni of the Faculty of Law, University of Malaya and forms part of a distinguished cohort widely recognised for producing numerous eminent figures within Malaysia’s legal and political landscape. Among his contemporaries are YAB Datuk Amar Haji Fadillah Yusof, the Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia, Tan Sri Datuk Azhar Azizan Harun, the former speaker of the Dewan Rakyat, Datuk Seri Takiyuddin Hassan, Member of Parliament and Dato’ Abdul Razak Musa, the former Solicitor General of Malaysia. The achievements of this cohort reflect the strong legal and academic foundation that has underpinned his longstanding contributions to the profession and public administration.

Prior to joining the firm, Dato’ Sri Ti Lian Ker practised as a partner at Messrs Wong, Law & Ti, where he established a respected legal practice. His professional career has been complemented by an extensive record of public service. He served as a Member of the Pahang State Legislative Assembly from 1995 to 2008 and was appointed as a Senator of the Dewan Negara for two terms.

In addition, he served as Deputy Minister of National Unity and later as Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports. Throughout his tenure in government, he contributed significantly to initiatives relating to national unity, youth development, and public policy.
