Mr Aaron obtained his Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from the University of the West of England in 2016. He commenced pupillage in July 2020 at Messrs Tee Bee Kim & Partners, where he was exposed primarily to conveyancing practice. He was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya on 5 February 2021.

He subsequently practised at Messrs Martin Chen & Partners from March 2021 to November 2021, focusing on conveyancing transactions involving residential and commercial properties. He joined Messrs Ching, Tan & Associates in November 2021 and is currently involved primarily in developer projects and conveyancing matters.

He has experience in the full spectrum of conveyancing and property development transactions, with involvement in both subsale and developer-driven projects. His practice encompasses transactional management, documentation, and coordination of completion processes across various stages of conveyancing work.

Experiences

  • Management of developer projects and sub-sale transactions, including oversight of transactional timelines, compliance with contractual deadlines, execution of documentation, and client advisory on transaction documentation and processes;

  • Coordination of transactions with developers, purchasers, real estate agents, bankers, and solicitors to ensure smooth progression from documentation stage through to completion and registration;

  • Handling of perfection of transfer, perfection of charge, discharge of charge, and other post-completion conveyancing processes;

  • Preparation and management of housing loan documentation for various banks and financial institutions, including standard form and transaction-specific financing documentation;

  • Drafting, reviewing, and vetting of sale and purchase agreements, including developer sale and purchase agreements, sub-sale agreements, and other conveyancing and commercial agreements;

  • Preparation of wills and related estate planning documentation;

  • Drafting and preparation of ancillary conveyancing and transactional documents arising from property development and financing transactions.
